Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is the second Transformers game from High Moon Studios, following the success of their love letter to transforming robots, War for Cybertron. It’s due to hit the streets tomorrow, and the word is we’re looking at a great game that does Transformers right. The launch trailer is awesome. Check it out.
Well, that was impressive. One of the problems with Transformers in media is that everyone gets hung up on the silly space robots gig, and doesn’t capture the true drama of the story. These are refugees from a civil war that has destroyed their country, trying to escape from a battle that follows them. This trailer, if nothing else, captures the feeling of the forever war that has ground down their world.
Let’s hope the game takes that feeling with it.
