Social games platform The Abyss announced today it has joined international gaming brand My.Games, part of the Mail.ru Group, with the launch of the game Warriors’ Dawn.
Warriors’ Dawn is a 4X game — a strategy game where players “eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, and eXterminate” — which takes place in the land of Altera.
As a fantasy game, players will encounter humans, elves, and dragons. They will build their own empire, join alliances, and fight for territory and resources.
Key features of the game include building your dream castle, an interactive map, and large scale warfare.
Buildings can be upgraded, which changes the castles’ appearance making it more impressive and populated. It is also possible to choose unique skins for the capital.
The large interactive map has many places to relocate the castle and opens up territory for alliances. This includes capturing mines and defeating monsters across the land. There is also a player versus player element involving attacking other people’s castles to steal resources.
To win, players will need to raise armies — this includes recruiting humans, elves, and dragons from the world to aid in ultimate victory.
With this joint release, My.Games has chosen The Abyss as another platform to distribute the game on. It is available on The Abyss’s client today.
