Skyrim Dawnguard came into the world under a 30-day exclusivity license with Microsoft, which meant the expansion for the hit RPG would only see the Xbox for its first month of life. That time has passed, and now the PS3 and PC gaming public is wondering where all the Dawnguard at. Bethesda’s response so far has consisted mostly of putting on a questioning face, screwing their eyes skyward, and asking “What’s a Dawnguard?” in all apparent seriousness. VG24/7 has the story.
While Bethesda may be reluctant to support any more work on the PC version of their fantasy epic, given what modders have done to the poor thing, the PC is still a major market. Or maybe they know Dawnguard is rather unimpressive all around. Who can predict the mind of a company that makes a game around having NPC companions but doesn’t give you any way of controlling or finding them?
