Anyhow, the point of this is to create a $99 console that runs Android games, all open, all hackable, all free to play games. So far, all the team has done is assemble a core of interesting backers. I really think people are desperate for a new console generation, and if they have to hack Android and build it themselves, they’re gonna get it. The real interesting concept is a conduit for transmitting free-to-play games directly into the minds of gamers without the clutter of typical retail. I wonder what Big Brick & Mortar thinks about that.
