Recently, Sony changed the terms of service their PlayStation Network to include a clause preventing users from engaging in a class-action lawsuit. This has generated a class-action lawsuit, as companies can’t simply claim legal immunity in non-contracts that gate services customers already paid for. Given that Microsoft has done the same thing with their terms of service, this should be an interesting battle. GameSpot has the story.
