The people at Riot Games have never had a close grip on either the their game, League of Legends, or the slouching subhumanoid beasts which play it. In their simple and somewhat charming naivety, Riot Games has started a program to humanize their users. One step in this is The Tribunal, a sort of player council that hashes out complaints and reports about other players. In other words, a political cesspool that the larger guilds will monopolize as a weapon against their competition. Fun! What other ways do they have for the players to take part in the forever ongoing creation of this online game? Gamasutra has the story.
The folks at Riot Games really are so cute when they pretend the PVP crowd isn’t filled from one end of the cage to the other with mongrels, mutants, and perverse calculators dressed in stolen human skin. They think PVPers are people.
