The ever-popular battle royale game Fortnite from Epic Games is getting a brand new addition to its Save the World mode: dungeons.
These traversable, subterranean loot-filled regions will populate in the spooky Hexylvania and are already ready for exploration.
It is known that they operate a lot like any other dungeon. Players will enter through a doorway the leads into the earth and discover themselves moving through rooms, mowing down trash monsters as they seek treasure and glory, and will finally encounter a final boss. Upon bringing down the boss monster, the dungeon delve will be presumably over.
Our reviewers also expect mimics.
There are no details on how good the weapons and equipment earned from this new mode. However, Windows Central mentions that there are a total of four available — but Epic’s plans for future dungeons are also unknown.
The PvE Save the World mode in Fortnite does not often get a lot of love, ever since the battle royale segment of the game made the game extremely lucrative. So this addition is tremendously welcome to those cooperative-minded players who are more driven by story and events than clashing on PvP battlefields.
