As you can see, I have an image from inside World of Warcraft and is one of the strange rewards from the archaeology secondary trade profession. If you can wait long enough to eventually pick it up from the ground.
I went and did a write up for Green Dragon Inn about my experience with it.
In abstract: it’s too OCD for me.
Now, when archaeology actually got released into the game it came to me as a little bit of a disappointment. I expected to see another glyph-like system based around it, so-called “Paths of the Titans” at the time which filled me which much glee. The chance to find other ways of tweaking my characters both after they’d reached their level 85 pinnacle or during their careers as rising stars really appealed to me. Then, when it finally came to fruition, I’d learned too late that Paths of the Titans had been scrapped and what I got in its stead is the old hitting rocks and…playing a game of hot-or-cold?
Of course, for those who don’t have enough time in their day to deal with this sort of OCD game playing can still get at the fun little stories by reading Wowwiki or a similar site to discover all the rewards and the text that comes with them.
Come on, who doesn’t want to know the proper story behind a hearthstone named “The Innkeeper’s Daughter.” You know you wanna.
