I’m mostly posting this just to fill up Helvetica with the boiling fluids of pure and liquid desire. Fragile, or more proper, Fragile: Sayonara Tsuki no Haikyo, is a role-playing game for Nintendo’s Wii set in a post-apocalyptic world. Sound familiar to anyone here? The difference is that the world is covered by a strange darkness and dense fog. Most of the world’s population has vanished, and the cities rest empty in their rotting decay.
Fragile should appear on store shelves in Japan come around the end of January, but as yet there’s no telling when it might be released to the rest of the world.
…
Awesome! I want it. Now! Give!
I want!
The name translates to -roughly- Fragile: Goodbye With Ruins
I don’t think I’m good enough at Japanese to follow it untranslated, though. While I have played games that way before, it’s really hard with RPGs.
We must band together and write to the developer/publisher and ask for an English version!
Who’s with me? (I know Helvetica is. *grin*)
*ahem*
Tsuki means moon… and with.
So, Goodbye Ruins of the Moon.
Gomenasai!
Here’s the official site.

I’m still working on translating the trailer. It’s hard! Well, okay, I stink at Japanese – but I’m trying.
What I have so far is – I think – Seto as the announcer saying he came here from the East. kuku = here, kara = from, higashi = east.
The characters are Seto – the main character you are playing as, and Wren, the strange girl spray painting silly graffiti bunnies on the ruins – seen in the trailer playing with a marble. (I haven’t seen the bunnies. That’s from another website about the game. I make no promises. heh.)
I did get that the opening theme, playing in this trailer is “Light” (hikari/ひかり) by Teshima Aoi (vocalist.)
Also, the kanji I’ve found on the Japanese websites is closer to my original translation, Fragile: Ruins of Farewell. Tsuki is moon, so I think perhaps we Americans are mistranslating it, OR the kanji doesn’t mean what I think it does. heh.
So, Helvetica, we’re getting this once it’s out for America, right?
