Fable Heroes is a hack and slash style game found over Xbox LIVE that takes a rather different spin on the Fable franchise. It’s puppets. Puppets beating up puppets and monsters to earn gold and goodies, which then goes into leveling up your puppet and unlocking new puppets. It’s a thing, you see. Fangoria has the story.
With no annoying story to get in the way, Fable Heroes does somewhat purify the Fable experience down to the basics. Fight, level, unlock. Damn, it feels good to be a hack and slash gamer.
