Xenoblade Chronicles represents a return, if not a resurrection, for JRPGs in the western market. Xenoblade Chronicles will be something of a signal to developers. If it flies off shelves, expect to see more JRPGs crossing the cultural borders. A failure here might see the whole idea of JRPGs go down in flames before the mighty boot of Fallout and Skyrim.
