The Stop Online Piracy Act was a bill which would hand control of the internet over to the big media companies and kill everything they couldn’t control. It was defeated by a popular internet revolt. However, the forces behind SOPA know exactly what they’re doing, and will be back for round 2. Here’s an article about what tactics they’ll use, and what we can do to fight back.
