Looks like saving up for the new Batman, Mass Effect, Saints Row, and other heavy hitters coming down the pipe has put a crimp in sales for the games that are out now. Video game sales stumbled by 4% compared to sales in September of last year. Hardware sales were also down, with fewer consoles being rescued from store shelves to find good homes. Then again, maybe three years of “it’s not a depression, we mean it this time” is taking a toll. Sure, I like gaming, but I like eating more.
